This study was designed to determine the effectiveness of exposing students sequentially to classroom instruction and supervised industrial work-experience in technology education programs. Engineering students enrolled in a course at Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin, Nigeria, were exposed to classroom instruction and supervised industrial work-experience. It was found that the exposure to supervised industrial work-experience significantly affected the performance outcome of the students, when compared with that of a control group.
