In this report the author compares the similarities and differences between the education systems of Canada and Australia. Findings include: (1) Canada has a higher high school retention rate; (2) Australia has a greater overall number of students enrolled in tertiary education; (3) a higher proportion of Australian workers hold tertiary qualifications; and (4) Australia also has a higher proportion of students enrolled in postgraduate studies.
