This document outlines the aims and objectives of the National TAFE Clearinghouse System for Australia. Three client groups are identified. They are: administrators, teachers and researchers. This paper discusses the requirements of each of the groups as users of the system. The bulk of the document is made up of four papers: ‘Administrators as clients’ by J. McCarthy; ‘Teachers as clients’ by R. Williams; ‘Researchers as clients’ by R. Scholefield; ‘Summary of user requirements’ by D. Kinnear.
