Enquiry into immediate post-compulsory education: proceedings of the seminar held on 24 August 1988 on year 12 in the post-compulsory curriculum

The seminar was convened to discuss the question in the report as to whether there should be five or six subjects in year 12. Among the issues discussed were: (1) the nature and purpose of post-compulsory education; (2) the range of subjects, particularly languages other than English; (3) the difficulties in providing equably for the needs of all students; and (4) the planning and resources needed for successful implementation.
