Recognition of prior learning for people with a disability: final report

This report presents the results of a study investigating the extent to which recognition of prior learning (RPL) policies and practices in TAFE systems throughout Australia cater for the requirements of people with a disability. It specifically addresses issues in policy and practice from the perspective of the requirements of people with a disability. The project is associated with implementation of 'FlexAbility: a strategic plan for people with a disability in TAFE', indexed at TD/ERD 87.36. Findings are based on a review of State and national policy documents and extensive consultation with practitioners, curriculum development, policy and professional development staff in each State and Territory.
