In this article Moira Scollay discusses two recent decisions by Ministers that will boost consistency, client service and quality in Australia's national VET system. The first decision relates to Ministers commitment to a fully-integrated, high quality national VET system and the second decision relates to a new marketing strategy. Marketing research has led to strategies that generate greater investment in training by the nation's employers and to re-inspire a love of learning in young people about to abandon it.
