This brochure describes the project 'Community engineering'. The aim of this project is to enable Aboriginal people to sustain economic independence through a training and employment program. Trainees have the opportunity to gain and practice in their communities nationally accredited skills which equate directly to industry standards. Trainees work at construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of buildings in the Coorong. The project will enable an Aboriginal enterprise to employ Aboriginal people.
