The Quality System for the SA VET Sector is founded on the model developed by the Australian Quality Council and incorporates the National Principles for Quality in VET. It also draws upon the experiences of other states and complements the quality system operating elsewhere in Australia. The Quality System offers a model for developing quality management and implementing quality assurance and continuous improvement processes, readily adapted to the size and nature of each training organisation. This Guide to Quality Endorsement is intended to introduce VET providers to the Quality System, without the need for prior knowledge or background in quality assurance. It explains all aspects of the Quality System, the process of implementation, and Quality Endorsement and what that entails. (OLEARN abstract)
