This handbook has been designed as a learning guide for the course in Cultural awareness and cross-cultural communications. Its purpose is to facilitate student awareness of our cultural frame of reference and to assist in providing students with cross-cultural communication skills to maximise their effectiveness and development at all levels of the industry. The focus is two-fold, to mirror both the theoretical content of the course as well as the experiential learning process. The topics are categorised into four main modules: definition, concept, perception, and communication skills.
