Case studies in industrial restructuring: international best practice

This supplementary issue concentrates on one of three key aspects of industrial restructuring often associated with the introduction of advanced technology, namely the ‘international best practice’. International best practice describes the standards of performance Australian manufacturers must achieve if they are to survive in the 1990’s. The pamphlet details ten case studies which illustrate how some Australian firms are embracing international best practice as a benchmark to gauge their success and to identify performance gaps.
