In 1997 the Kimberley College of TAFE adapted the Certificate IV in Workplace Training (Category 2) to make it more culturally appropriate for Aboriginal learners. The resulting package is designed to be flexible, and has been expanded to include illustrations and cartoons from Aboriginal artists. This paper outlines the modules in the package. Because of the cultural differences may not be successful in Torres Strait Islander communities.
