This study guide has been compiled by a mature age student for mature age students who may encounter difficulties in re-adjusting to a study commitment. Synchronisation of studies with family life, relationships, work, hobbies, sport, friends and social life is often difficult. Most of the problems encountered are a direct result of either not having learned the skills required or having become 'rusty' in their application. Returning to study, whether full-time or part-time, after an absence of years, requires some neural re-programming.
