Writing a science curriculum in Maori

The thesis examines the recent development of curriculum policy in Maori and, in particular, Te Tauaki marautanga putaiao: he tauira (the draft version of Science in the national curriculum: curriculum statement in Maori). These policies written in Maori represent a change in the government official stance on curriculum policy from one providing English only documents to now providing documents written in te reo Maori.
