Stage 2 submission for the accreditation of the award course: Associate Diploma of Business (Banking and Finance)

This course has been developed in response to requests from the banking and finance sector for a program of instruction to assist staff to progress to middle management positions. A comprehensive survey revealed that the increasing complexity of the banking and finance industry has created a demand for a course with a strong theoretical component of the law and practices relating to the industry. This demand has been met by designing an Associate Diploma, thirty per cent of the content of which comprises specialised banking and finance subjects supported by general business related subjects.
