This is the report of a review to identify the flexible learning options available through TAFE New South Wales (NSW) - Hunter Institute and the impact and outcomes which have followed from these. Input to the review was received from Hunter Institute management and staff through interview, site visits and workshops. Flexible learning activities are outlined in tabular form broken down by faculty with separate tables giving numbers of students enrolled in flexible study options. Nine factors were identified which contribute to the success of flexible learning. Six issues were also identified that impede flexible learning. Overall the review found that Hunter Institute provides a number of pathways between education, work and TAFE to improve access and participation by students.
