Towards an evaluation of the whole person in practice: some implications

This paper focuses upon key issues surrounding the development and evaluation of skilful practice or work from a perspective inclusive of the whole person. Informed by extensive participatory action research, the paper discusses soft, employability, and generic skills and most importantly, how these are developed and evaluated in context: raising such issues as the legitimacy of the subjective and the relevance of graded assessment.
