Where, when and how: achievements and prospects in flexible delivery

Neil Black, as the chair of the Flexible Learning Steering Committee is convinced that flexible learning is a growth area and that the vocational education sector needs to be relevant and specific as well as flexible to meet the education demands over the life time of learners. Teacher development is an important part of this development and changes in the learning culture have meant that the focus has been increasingly on the learner rather than the teacher. Resources play an important part of the learning process in which the teacher is the guide. The six key principles of flexible learning which are part of the TAFE NSW Flexible Delivery Management Plan 1998-2000 are included.
