Recognition of achievement in VET in schools: a progress report

The February 2000 issue of Training Agenda (vol.8, no.1) reported on a set of recommendations by New South Wales (NSW) which were endorsed by the Australian National Training Authority Ministerial Council (ANTA MINCO) on how to achieve greater recognition by universities of Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications obtained by senior secondary students as part of vocational education and training (VET) in schools initiatives. This article examines progress in a range of activities which have been undertaken to further these aims.
