This plan sets out the strategic directions and priorities of the automotive industry in New South Wales (NSW) for vocational education and training (VET) over the three years 2001-2003. The contents of the plan include: industry environment and outlook; major issues for the industry including training packages, apprenticeships, on and off the job training, and VET in schools; industry skill needs for 2001; and industry training advice for 2001 to meet NSW VET priorities.
