The pre-apprenticeship review

NSW TAFE conducts 31 pre-apprenticeship trade courses. The offering of full-time pre-employment courses is part of a world wide trend toward full-time alternatives to existing part-time vocational coures. With the decline in the proportion of the workforce employed in the manufacturing sector of the economy and the exploitation of minerals and energy resources, a review of the purpose and progress of those courses was considered appropriate.
