This plan sets out the strategic directions and priorities of the utilities and electrotechnology industries in New South Wales (NSW) for vocational education and training (VET) for the three years 2000-2002. The contents of the plan include: industry expectations for 2000; review of the 1999-2001 industry VET plan; statistical information and tables; electrotechnology overview and skill shortages; gas overview and skill shortages; and, power industry overview and skill shortages. The New South Wales Utilities and Electrotechnology ITAB encompasses the industries of electrical power, water, gas and electrical electronics.
