Recent research in Australia and America highlights the vital importance of women to economic and business growth. In this paper the issue of marketing vocational education and training (VET) to women is examined. Marketing is a key focus of the National Women's VET Strategy, it is a very complex issue, and the author contends that more effective targeting is required if women are to participate fully in future economic and business growth.
