This paper reports on a project which investigated perceptions of access and equity issues by surveying a sample of Sydney Institute of Technology (SIT) staff. It was a small scale intensive study using qualitative methods to clarify definitions of access and equity, determine perceived barriers, and summarise views on existing and recommended strategies.
