Designers of learning materials need to consider certain issues when designing learning materials which may be used by learners who have physical, intellectual, vision, hearing, psychological of neurological disabilities and learning difficulties, such as low literacy levels. Learning materials can also be made more accessible for learners with other challenges, such as English as their second language. This article explains how the Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) has addressed this issue.
