Reasons for the lack of reporting against and complying with disability legislation are identified. Options for addressing the situation are discussed, with the preference being to disseminate a customised monitoring tool. A strategy is developed to optimise the likelihood of responses being received and to consolidate a role for the restructured VET Disabilities Services Unit. Evaluation criteria are proposed.
