HSC recommendations: continuity and prescription

In 1996, Barry McGaw released the report 'Their future: options for reform of the HSC in NSW' (TD/NSW 47.16) to encourage community discussion of the Higher School Certificate (HSC). The second report 'Shaping their future: recommendations for reform of the Higher School Certificate' makes 26 recommendations for reform of the HSC based on submissions received (TD/NSW 50.43). This article contains a review and a summary of McGaw's second report.

Shaping their future: recommendations for reform of the Higher School Certificate

In late 1995, the NSW Government commissioned a review of the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
