Work-based learning in audiometry: case study

A new TAFE NSW Advanced Certificate Course in Audiometry was introduced in 1995, providing structured on-the-job learning through clinical practice models. The course was based on competency statements developed with considerable industry input. The model will be the subject of a research project by the TAFE Assessment Centre during 1996. The article describes the new course.
