In 1995, the Centre for Workplace Learning (NSW) implemented successful statewide training for front-line employees keen to develop their on-the-job training skills. Around 1,000 employees were trained in the three months from September to November under the initiative, which was a partnership between the Centre, the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation.
