Bradfield College, established late in 1992, is a joint enterprise between the NSW Department of Education and the NSW TAFE Commission. This article describes student selection criteria and courses offered. A distinctive feature of the College's curriculum is its on-the-job training scheme where students are placed in industry one day per week. Competencies have been formally adopted as the framework of the college's exit documentation.
