This National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) resource kit is composed of the NVQ implementation guide, the NVQ awareness guide and two leaflets. The NVQ implementation guide is a set of 10 leaflets that are intended as a guide for individuals who are responsible for introducing and running NVQs in their organisation. They explain what NVQs are, cover different options that are available, offer suggestions on planning the introduction of NVQs and discuss the resource implications. The NVQ awareness guide is a booklet that describes the reasons for establishing NVQs. It offers a description of their structure and the benefits that will be gained by both learners and employers. A glossary of terms is also provided. Two leaflets - on accreditation of prior learning and a general guide to NVQs - are also provided as a part of this resource kit.
