This paper seeks to draw together the development in six areas of design and delivery of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in Papua New Guinea (PNG). The areas are: (1) the upgrading of skills and quality of teaching practice in PNG technical and business colleges; (2) the development of quality teaching aids and resources; (3) upgrading and enhancing skills, knowledge and practice in technical education quality management; (4) the development of national industry training standards; (5) technology transfer of best practice in industry training; and (6) intellectual capital transfer of competency based industry training and accreditation.
