Improving quality of vocational and technical education in Turkey

This paper outlines the points to be considered when restructuring the vocational and technical education system in Turkey. Points such as: school-industry cooperation/partnership, involving local authorities in decision making, industry involvement in the planning, implementing and evaluation of vocational and technical education, and developing curriculum around occupational clusters and core programs.
