The involvement of industry in the process of technical vocational education and training (TVET) is particularly important to enhance its relevance and quality assurance. The purpose of this paper is to present a rationale of industry-education cooperation. Successful examples of effective partnerships are analysed to develop a model for proposing this type of strategy or partnership.
