This article identifies the change in work and in vocational education as cultural change and wonders how social justice and other broad ethical issues will emerge from the influence of this matrix of socio-economic transformation. The work claims its derivation from the tradition of contemporary social philosophy and uses the analytical, critical and speculative tools of that tradition to examine the ethical implications of models of individual economic potential and employment potential.
