Fundamental errors made in the design and introduction of career education into Greek schools

This paper describes the practical problems encountered by the author as a careers education teacher in Greece. These personal experiences are used to highlight inadequacies and unrealistic expectations in the reform procedures required under the School Professional Orientation (SEP) law. The paper concludes with suggestions for re-orienting the approach of the SEP.
