Exploring HRD competencies in Taiwan: the results of a cross-cultural study

This paper describes a research study that compared Human Resource Development (HRD) competencies required in the United States and Taiwan. The study was directed towards organisations and HRD professionals in Taiwan. The study identifies key differences in recognised competencies in HRD and relates these to cultural values and traditions.
