Challenges facing vocational, distance education

This is a 3 page summary of the paper presented by Dr Hall to the fourth international workshop of the Korea National Open University (KNOU) and the Korea National Commission for UNESCO (KNCU) (see TD/IRD 88.96 for the set of workshop papers). The focus of the paper was the four challenges - the challenge of change, the challenge of environmental factors, the challenge of training and the challenge of competitiveness. A copy of the set of overhead transparencies used to illustrate the talk is also provided.
