Privatization and vocational training in Chile

This study is one of several prepared in the framework of research undertaken by the ILO's Training Policy Branch on the subject of national experiences in attempting to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of public training systems. The research points to the process of privatization of public enterprises which had occurred in Chile from 1974 on and its implications on the vocational training system at the enterprise and at the macro-economic level as well.
