Vocational education through radio: lessons from the Philippines schools on the air

This paper was presented at Vocational education at a distance: the Asia and the Pacific region workshop (TD/IRD 88.96). School on the air (SOA) is a delivery system for distance education, where radio takes the place of the traditional printed material. The paper briefly covers characteristics, advantages, provides a case study and outlines the lessons learned.
