This study looks at Vocational and Technical Education (VTE)-industry links in eight participating SEAMEO VOCTECH member countries: Negara Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. It was instituted to examine the nature and effectiveness of VTE-industry links, using two survey questionnaires administered by national researchers to samples drawn from VTE institutions and industry in each country. The report includes an executive summary and recommendations for building up further links and improving industry acceptance of VTE graduates.
