Copyright issues in the Asia Pacific region

This paper is the result of a survey carried out by the Lead Institution, NCVER, into copyright legislation in the following APSDIN member countries: Australia, Fiji, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. The paper draws up some generalisations and looks at the regional impact of the accepted common laws in the context of educational settings.
