First Meeting of APSDIN (Asian and Pacific Skill Development Information Network), 2-10 September 1986, Chiba, Japan

Report of the first Asian and Pacific Skill Development Information Network (APSDIN) meeting. It reviews the status of documentation centres/libraries for vocational education and training in participating countries. It covers information sources of the ILO, analysis of information through indexing and abstracting, preparation of a collection development policy, and information repackaging. Recommendations on activities to be undertaken by the Asian and Pacific Skill Development Programme (APSDEP), ILO and APSDIN are given.
