This study examines the use of mobile units for vocational education in the Former Soviet Union. It describes design, equipment of mobile classrooms used in training workers at enterprises; organisation of education; content of theoretical instruction and labour protection measures adopted; provides details on structure, equipment and training in a mobile mechanised training workshop.
