This report contains recommendations on development processes for training package support materials. Findings are based on an evaluation of industry-specific projects funded through the Training Package Support Materials project conducted by ANTA with funding from the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST). The report is presented in four sections: the first section provides an overview of the project aims and objectives, the project methodology and identifies issues with respect to the conduct of the project and outcomes; the second section provides the six industry case studies and summary statements related to the specific training package support materials project; section three provides information on the implementation of the identified training package resources specifically as it relates to New Apprenticeship data for the six selected industry sectors (Legal Administration, Forest and Forest Products Industry, Transport and Distribution, Horticulture, Asset Maintenance, Metal and Engineering); the final section provides samples of better practice processes and strategies for training package support materials development projects.
