This resource has been developed to help Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), workplaces and individuals to identify their training and assessment needs and consequently assist in the development of training and assessment systems. Moving on from there, it discusses the provision and maintenance of quality training and assessment programs. It aims to be a practical and easy-to-read publication designed to clarify training packages and how they are used. It covers competency standards, how they can be used, and how they can be customised to meet individual and workplace needs.
