Case study of a Queensland school support centre as an innovation: theory and practice

The author discussed the educational and administrative issues in establishing school support centres in Queensland in order to meet defined key result areas. Contextual factors such as staffing the centre, the nature of the surrounding schools, the philosophy of the coordinator and teacher interest in the centre influenced decisions about the structure and functions of the centre.
