This report involves information and recommendations arising from the 'Gender Building' project in the Australian Capital Territory which was undertaken by the ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Council. The project aimed to devise mechanisms and recommendations to assist females gain access to employment in the building construction industry, ensure structures are in place to assist women's participation in the industry and ensure training systems facilitate women's participation in the industry.
