This new course is designed for non-English speaking background clients with low levels of oracy and literacy. It will prepare them for vocational education and training by familiarising them with the language and behavioural expectations of vocational education. It will also improve their general language skills to proficiency level ASLPR2 to enable them to participate effectively in the classroom. It will give them a range of basic skills commonly required in most workplaces and vocational courses.
