Abstract:

'Education international' was the official magazine of Education International (EI), a world-wide trade union organisation of education personnel. It is published quarterly in English, French and Spanish. This issue, entitled 'Vocational education and training', was published at the same time that EI was organising its first Roundtable on Vocational Education and Training. The brief articles discuss educational reform, vocational education and training (VET) systems worldwide, International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNESCO's views, lifelong learning, partnerships, national situations in Germany, Australia, Gabon and Honduras, and child labour.
