Abstract:

This publication contains three papers presented at a seminar held in Melbourne on 6 August, 1992 by the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Women and Girls (MACWAG) on the gender implications of the Mayer and Carmichael reports.

The papers are: National training & education reform (Josefa Sobski); Gender implications of the Mayer and Carmichael reports: education and training at the post-compulsory level (Susan Pascoe); The education of girls at the post-compulsory level: gender implications of the second Mayer Committee discussion paper (Ann Morrow).
